Welcome to Pleasantville Middle School!

Middle school is a unique and important time in a child’s development where tremendous growth, curiosity, discovery, and change occur. Our approach is grounded in the belief that students learn best when they feel known, supported, challenged, and connected to their school community.

We strive to create a middle school experience that balances academic excellence with the social and emotional development of the whole child. Students are encouraged to take intellectual risks, ask questions, develop independence, and discover their individual strengths and interests. At the same time, we recognize that students are still developing the skills they need to move through an increasingly complex world.

Our teachers and staff work to build strong relationships with students and create classrooms where every student feels a sense of belonging.
